2026.1
Time management arrives in Agile Tools. Worklogs record time against the item it was spent on and the person who did the work, and a timesheet gathers them for a period. Without the approval workflow, worklogs accumulate for a monthly period and can be exported to PDF, Excel or CSV. With the approval workflow on, a timesheet can be submitted early, returned with a reason, and approved by one or two approvers along an enforced chain — team leaders and their deputies, then organizational unit heads and their deputies.Every person works to their own scheme. Working-hours and holiday schemes are kept per person, so a timesheet is measured against that person’s own scheme, and the timezone a person selects is used wherever a time is shown to them.Every organization sets its own cadence. Internal events — meetings, parental leave, sick days, or any it defines — help with time management, and administrators choose monthly or weekly approvals, close periods manually, or configure schedulers.Client projects gain rates and budgets. Projects can be priced with rates and budgets, and an overview shows how much has been used against them. Budgets can also be managed and monitored per organizational unit, value unit and team.Organizational units and teams now have detail pages. Leaders and heads can manage their clients and projects for billing, and approve timesheets for the people in a department or cross-functional team.Settings and access. The catalogs of job positions, roles and rates gather onto pages of their own, with paging for the long lists, and user groups are managed at the organization account, so access can be granted to a set of people at once.People, positions and skills. The people directory draws on the ESCO catalog of job positions and skills, so the roles a person holds, and how their skills fit those roles, can be managed in a given period.Groundwork for what comes next. The public API now covers people, organizational units, value units and key results, but without a way to manage API keys from the interface, it cannot be consumed yet. Notifications reach a person by email when work arrives with them; settings for organizations and people are still to come.Across the product. Keyboard shortcuts now speed up daily work for power users, and value items on workboards gained quality-of-life editing improvements. A value item records how long it stayed in each status; time management and settings meet the keyboard and screen-reader requirements, including their save flows; deleted records are handled consistently across the core entities; and the interface was upgraded to the current Angular release version. All 2026.1.x release notes →
